Hello, my name is Wen Hua Yu He, also known as Hana and I have completed the Early Childhood Education program at Seneca College. I was born in Chile, but my parents are Chinese, so I can speak Spanish and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese) fluently. I love to see children happy so that is why I like to work with them. During my placement in a childcare centre, I incorporate learning goals for children's learning every day, such as learning through play, working with text, problem-solving, experimentation, the study of objects in the environment as well as natural phenomena, and exploring new things around them. I know that learning through play is an effective way to improve children's abilities and children are more likely to acquire knowledge if they do it while playing. "The goal of Early Childhood Education should be to activate the child's own natural desire to learn" - Maria Montessori
