School Ready

Preparing for elementary success

Welcome to kindergarten: the gateway to grade school and everything that comes next! Our kindergarten programs offer inquiry-based learning curriculums that mix learning and fun. Very young children have a natural curiosity and wonderment about their world, which makes Kindergarten a fun place to be. It is also why inquiry-based learning in kindergarten works so well. The ways in which children play, explore and question are delightful, but more importantly, they are also fundamental to their early cognitive development.

Daily Classroom Schedule

Kids this age thrive on routine. We use a schedule with simple pictures to show them what's coming up next! This keeps them feeling confident about what to expect for the day and be part of the plan. We'll talk about our day in morning circle and have lots of visual reminders everywhere.

Doing Things Independently

Kindergarten is also where your child becomes more independent with things like hand-washing and self-care. That's why sinks, toilets, and furniture in our classrooms are all kid-size—so they can build confidence knowing they can do it all by themselves.

See What a Typical Day is Like

Our caring teachers set a balanced daily rhythm for kindergarteners that blends joyful play with purposeful learning. Each day includes group time, early literacy, numeracy, outdoor exploration, nutritious meals, and enrichment programs that build curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.
