Hello, my name is Marjan. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Law from Iran, along with an ECA certificate from Canada. I have several years of experience working with children, including teaching art, creative expression, and LEGO at the LEGO Academy. In addition, I have a strong personal interest in art and music; I have been practicing painting and music for many years. I am a mother of two, and I deeply care about children’s well-being and their future. I believe that creating a calm and supportive environment for children is essential, as it can have a huge impact on their development. I am very happy to be working at Newstead Academy, where the staff and children are highly valued, and where we focus on creating a positive and secure environment for everyone.
Newstead Academy is located on the traditional territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and other Indigenous peoples who have lived here over time. We are grateful to share this land as treaty people who learn, work, and live in the community with each other.
Newstead Academy is committed to creating and sustaining an equitable and inclusive learning and working environment. We encourage and actively seek applications from Indigenous, Black, racialized people, visible minorities, 2SLGBTQIA+ persons, all genders, and persons with disabilities.
