Hi! My name is Cassandra. My original plan was to become an esthetician but once I started working with kids, I couldn't see myself doing anything else. I believe being a teacher is the most rewarding job out there. I love watching them learn and achieve new things. Knowing I've been a part of their growth is an unmatchable feeling. A bit about me is I like to bake! I also like to travel, read and play sports like volleyball and tennis. I'm so excited to be working here at Newstead and I am so excited to watch these kids learn and grow, and make the best memories with them!
Newstead Academy is located on the traditional territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and other Indigenous peoples who have lived here over time. We are grateful to share this land as treaty people who learn, work, and live in the community with each other.
Newstead Academy is committed to creating and sustaining an equitable and inclusive learning and working environment. We encourage and actively seek applications from Indigenous, Black, racialized people, visible minorities, 2SLGBTQIA+ persons, all genders, and persons with disabilities.
