Field Trips

Discover how your child will grow, learn, and thrive in our specialized program

For young learners, few things are more thrilling than a school bus ride and an exciting field trip. At Newstead, we believe that learning extends far beyond the classroom walls—our students have already enjoyed a variety of outdoor adventures!

We’ve cheered at the top of our lungs at a live hockey game, waved to orangutans at the Toronto Zoo, fed llamas and picked pumpkins on a farm, and marveled at the massive ocean tank and divers at the aquarium—so many joyful memories!

Through discovery, discussion, observation, and hands-on experiences, our students gain knowledge about animals, oceans, plants, and more. At the same time, they practice important real-world skills such as public manners, safety awareness, and following instructions.

We view field trips as essential to a holistic education. They deepen understanding, foster curiosity, and ignite a love for exploration. Most of all, they create priceless memories in our learners’ school journey.
